WRITING CONTEST

We want to read what YOU have to WRITE
The future of writing is being written here at AON and we want to help pave that path. Here you have the opportunity to submit your talented pieces and have a chance at winning big prizes! The only question is, what are you going to write?

PROMPT

For this contest, write a short story using the following prompt as your jumping off point. 

The Effect One Small Action Can Have on the Future

SUBMITTING

All submissions for the contest must be emailed to thenetwork@avenues.org by June 10th.
All submissions must include authors name, grade, age, and date of submission.

Winner will hear back from the Network Editorial Team by July 1st.

Winner will then be announced to community at student orientation on August 22nd.
 

RULES

- No lewd language
- Word minimum of 1000 words
- Word maximum of 2000 words
- Submitters must be an AON student

*Pieces not complying with these rules will be disqualified

RECOGNITION

The winner of the contest will be highlighted at upcoming student events 

PRIZES

PUBLISHED IN JOURNAL

The winning piece will be published in a widely read outside publication with prospects of future collaboration

DONATION

AON will make a donation to any non-profit in the name of the winner
